Artanzia’s Obituary Mrs. Artanzia R. Jones was born to George R. and Ola B. Richardson 1 of 12 children. She was predeceased by her husband Merton P. Jones Sr.; sons, Merton P. Jones Jr., Marvin Conway Jones; five brothers and, one sister. She is survived by her daughters, Marlene (Herbert) Jones and Marion J. Mims; two sisters, Octavia R. Thornton, Evelyn R. Foster; four brothers, Benjamin F. Richardson, Wilbert (Jean) Richardson, Ronald (Celander) Richardson, Warren(Patricia) Renwick; ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren; seven great -great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Friday May 24, 2019 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:15 am-12 pm at the church Friday.
