ARYA ROSE CASTILLO October 28, 2018 – January 22, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book Arya Rose Castillo, 2 months, of Sycamore, Illinois, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb. She was born October 28, 2018, in DeKalb, the daughter of Luis Castillo and April Peterson. She is survived by her parents, Luis and April; her sister, Isabelle; her brother, Michael; paternal grandparents, Miguel and Nora Castillo of Cortland; maternal grandparents, Edwin and Sara Peterson of Sycamore; special nephew, Anthony Herrera; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her aunt, Norma Angelica Castillo, in 2005. Memorial Services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb, with Fr. Darwin Flores of St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb officiating.

Cremation will follow, with burial of cremated remains at a later date at St. Mary Cemetery in Maple Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at 8:00 p.m. January 30, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Arya R. Castillo Memorial Fund, addressed to the Castillo Family in care of Anderson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 605, 2011 South Fourth Street, DeKalb, IL 60115.
