Aubrey Louis Soileau December 09, 1943 – January 08, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card OPELOUSAS ~ A graveside service will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas for Aubrey Louis Soileau, age 75, who passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at his residence in Opelousas. Aubrey was a native and lifelong resident of Opelousas. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in both France and Germany.

Survivors include one daughter, Gina Kay Mouret and her husband, Mike, of Nashville; a brother, Harold James Soileau of Opelousas; a sister, Una Mae Wilson of Opelousas; a sister-in-law, Louella Soileau of Opelousas; six grandchildren, Michael Mouret, II, Christian Mouret, Maxwell Mouret, Chase Mouret, Jordan Olivier and Ashlee Olivier; two great-grandchildren, Alissa Olivier and Liam Myles; and his former wife, Beverly M. Richard and her companion, Raymond Speyrer. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Monica Faye Soileau; his parents, Dillard Soileau and the former Agnes Joubert; a brother, Leroy Soileau; a brother-in-law, Francis Wilson; and a grandson, Jacob Olivier. Melancon Funeral Home of Opelousas, 4708 I-49 North Service Road, (337) 407-1907, is in charge of arrangements.
