Barbara’s Obituary Barbara Ann Beeson, 76, of Warsaw, died Saturday, December 22, 2018, at her home. She was born on January 17, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of William Clark and Violet Valeria (Shaneyfelt) Reeves. She grew up and attended school in Cahokia, Illinois, and worked as a bookkeeper at the bank there.

On July 23, 1960, at Cahokia, Illinois, she was united in marriage to William Alford Beeson. This union was blessed with the gift of four children, William, Bradley, Bruce, and Brenda. They moved to Cole Camp and then to Ionia where she raised her children.

Barbara was a member of River Church in Warsaw. She had worked at Swifts Hatchery in Sedalia, was a cook for BB Bar and Grill near Warsaw for 13 years and worked for Benton County Home Health. She is survived by: one daughter, Brenda Haase and her husband Calvin of Cole Camp; two sons, William Robert “Bob” Beeson and his fiancé Carol and Bradley Beeson both of Ionia; a sister, Joyce Reeves Reckentin and her husband Bill of Cahokia, Illinois; a brother, Ervan Earl Reeves of Clarksville, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Kimberly Dawn Moon, William Robert Beeson, Jr., Savanna Beeson Reyes, Justin Beeson, David L. Beeson, and Ryan Adam Beeson; and four great-grandchildren, Haily Dawn Lacey, Dylan Lacey, Alexis Mace, and Adilyn Beeson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Violet Reeves, her husband, William Beeson on November 5, 2018, her son Bruce Edward Beeson on July 14, 1973, her grandson Billy Wayne Fornshell in December of 1972, and two brothers, Clifford Reeves and Jerry Reeves. A celebration of her life and pot luck dinner will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Ionia Community Center, Ionia, with Pastors Sam and Denise Hinkel officiating. Burial will be at a later date in McGee Chapel Cemetery near Green Ridge.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.
