Obituary for Mrs. Barbara Trova Mrs. Barbara Trova, 78, of Pittsfield, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Born in Pittsfield on July 20, 1940 the daughter of Howard and F. Barbara Hughes Broderick, she was a 1958 graduate of Pittsfield High School and an alumnus of Our Lady of The Elms College. Mrs. Trova was a lifelong resident of Pittsfield and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.

Barbara was accomplished at both the piano and organ and was the organist at local churches. She enjoyed crocheting and especially spending time with her family whom she loved dearly and made them her priority. She was a devout Catholic whose faith was unwavering.

Besides her mother, Barbara Broderick, she is survived by her husband, her best friend, Peter Trova, whom she married at Sacred Heart Church on January 28, 1961; three children, Michael Trova and his wife Sharon, John Trova and his wife Chris, and Paul Trova and his wife Kimberly; two brothers, Edward Broderick and his wife Gunta, and James Broderick. She is also survived by seven loving grandchildren, Kevin, Mark, Lisa, Elizabeth, Jessica, Sara and Nicole. Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Trova will be Monday, September 24, 2018 at 9 a.m. from the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, celebrated by Rev.

Michael Bernier, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires or to the Dementia Society of America, care of the Dwyer Funeral Home in her memory.
