Bart’s Obituary Bart Jameson, 40, of McAlester passed away on January 30, 2019. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Chaney’s Memorial Chapel with J.P. Wilcox officiating. Bart was born in Talihina, Oklahoma on August 16, 1978.

Bart was also born of Choctaw heritage. He graduated from Crowder High School in 1996 and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. Bart worked in the oil field for most of his life.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles, enjoying life and spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his mother, Donna Jameson; brothers, Gary Robinson and wife, Tracey, Carl Jameson and wife, Ashley, Brett Jameson and wife, Crystal and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and countless friends in which he was loved by all. Bart is preceded in death by his father, Jeff L. Jameson; grandfather, Carl L. Jameson and grandmother, Lucille Laura Jameson.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking those who wish to make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in dedication of Bart Jameson. The family of Bart Jameson wishes to thank everyone who has taken the time to come or those whom have sent their thoughts and prayers. “As is a tale, so is a life: Not how long it is, but how good it is, is what matters”.
