Charles Henry Snyder January 16, 1937 – March 17, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Charles Henry Snyder, 82, of McAlester, died Sunday, March 17, at his home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 30, at 11:00 a.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church of Indianola with Pastor Fred Morrison officiating. Charles Snyder was born on Jan.

16, 1937 in Onondaga, New York to Harold Henry and Viola Elizabeth (Brain) Snyder, and lived much of his adult life in Oklahoma and Colorado. He married Rosemary Ray on May 27, 1972 in Golden, CO. They lived in McAlester for 10 years, then moved to Colorado for several years before returning to McAlester just recently.

Charles worked as a warehouse manager for the public schools while living in Colorado until retirement. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars, and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Snyder of the home; children, Sheri Bernard and husband Clyde of Penrose, CO.

, Lori Wood and husband Dan of Alexandrea City, AL. , Tiffany Townely and husband Jesse of McAlester; grandchildren, Kassondra Delvecchio of Canon City, CO. , Ethan Wood of Alexandrea City, AL.

, Morgan Reese and husband Chance of McAlester, Stetson, Remington and Garret Townley of McAlester; great grandchildren, Daxtin Ronco and Tanner McLaury of Canon City, CO. ; and a brother, Drew Snyder.
