Beatrice C. Dunphy, 97, of Hurricane, passed away January 11, 2019. She was born November 18, 1921, in Michigan, to the late Beauford and Viola E. Wentworth. She is also preceded in death by her husband Joe Dunphy; daughter, Darlene Luther, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Beatrice was loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and will be missed. She also supported her country by being a “Rosie the Riveter” during the war, at Willow Run Bomber Plant. She is survived by her daughter Janice Brown Marslender Williams of Hurricane; 4 grandchildren, Sean Brown (Kendell St. Brigid), Jeana Torricer (Todd), Alex Luther and Alicia Toms (Steven) all of Minnesota; great granddaughter, Joebea Torricer; and many other extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 18, 2019, at Kings River Worship Center, St. Albans, with Pastor Chris Kimbro officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Chapman Funeral Home is honored to serve the Dunphy family.
