Obituary for Bernard Abram Dye Bernard Abram Dye, age 73, passed away Tuesday, October 16 at Russell County Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Russell County and a member of the Church of Christ on Stoot Street in Lebanon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Georgie Dye.

Survivors Include: Wife: Buretta Powers Dye Children: Diann Jessee of Lebanon, Virginia; Carmella Lynn Hammons of Kingsport, Tennessee; Jennifer L. Whisenhunt of Lebanon, Virginia; Dodie Perry of Bristol, Virginia; Greg D. Dingus of Castlewood, Virginia, Leai Little of Bristol, Tennessee, and Tammy S. Rose of Castlewood, Virginia One Brother: Harry Dye of Lebanon, Virginia Two Sisters: Shirley Dye of Lebanon, Virginia and Ethel Cox of Cedar Bluff, Virginia Nephew: Bobby Allen Dye Great Nephew: Chris Dye Great Niece: Angie Dye A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren The family will receive friends Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Brother Jackie Fields will officiate. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Wedford Powers Family Cemetery on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. where a graveside prayer will be conducted by Brother Jackie Fields. There will be no procession to the cemetery.

Burial will follow. Pallbearers will be Ralph Whisenhunt, Kenneth Scarberry, David Little, Tammy Rose, Tyler Woodruff, Shyanne Blankenship, Greg Harold Whisenhunt, and Timothy R. Whisenhunt. Honorary Pallbearers will be Greg Dingus, Chris Meade, Joe Perry, Nathan Johnson, Landon Johnson, R C Hammonds, Bobby Dye, Chris Dye, Harry Dye, and Lando Rose.
