Obituary for Brenda Gale Newberry Brenda Gale Newberry, age 69, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018. She was a former resident of Dickenson County and had lived in Phenix City, Alabama since 2013. She was of the Old Regular Baptist faith, and a member of Flemingtown Freewill Baptist Church.

Brenda was a 1967 graduate of Clintwood High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurston and Irene Bowman. Survivors Include: Two Daughters: Margarett Artrip and husband, Harvey Artrip of Lodi, Ohio and Angela Land and husband, Luther Land of Seale, Alabama One Sister: Glenda Bowman of Clintwood, Virginia Four Brothers: Larry Lee Bowman, Ronnie Bowman, Connie Bowman, and John Bowman all of Clintwood, Virginia Eight Grandchildren: Paige Artrip, Payton Artrip, Myranda Rasnick, Jonathan Rasnick, Isabella Martin, Corbin Martin, Billy Land, and Aleigha Land Four Great Grandchildren: Vivian Miller, Laci Rasnick, Gavin Shiver, and Annabella Rasnick The family will receive friends Monday, October 8, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with Lester Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Charlie Sowards Cemetry, Flemingtown Section of Clintwood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Luther Land, Harvey Artrip, Jonathan Rasnick, Corbin Martin, Billy Land, and Roley Bowman Honorary Pallbearer: Stephen Cowart Mullins Funeral Home and Staff are serving the Newberry Family.
