Bernard Kuamoo, Sr. September 14, 1950 – February 12, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Sympathy Card Bernard Kuamoo, Sr., 68, of Mililani and formerly of Hilo died Feb. 12 at his residence. Born in Hilo, he was a retired Adult Correctional Officer from the Department of Public Safety (OCCC) and served as a Deacon for the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Friends may call from 6–9 p.m. Wednesday (February 27, 2019) at the Hilo Seventh-Day Adventist Church; service at 7. Friends may call again 9–10 a.m. Thursday (February 28, 2019) at the Hilo Seventh-Day Adventist Church; service at 10. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park.

Casual attire. Survived by wife, Theola L. Kuamoo of Mililani; son, Bernard (Mika H.) Kuamoo, Jr. of Ewa Beach; daughters, Kimberlyn (Peter Pavao, III) K. Kuamoo-Pavao of Mililani, Chardunais L. Kuamoo of Mililani; sisters, Diane Kuamoo Horton of Pahoa, Nalani Ferreira Miller of Seattle, Washington; brother, Gaylord Kuamoo of San Diego, California; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews.
