Obituary for Betsey J. Brewer Betsey J. Brewer, of Ann Arbor, passed away July 21, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 75 years old. Born June 7, 1943 in Dearborn, Michigan she was the daughter of Harold J. and Margaret (Gilmore) Stander.

Betsey married her beloved husband of 53 years, Brian Brewer on October 3, 1964. She worked for Ann Arbor Bank which later became National City Bank for 38 years until her retirement. During her time working she served on numerous boards and associations.

She loved her sports, especially football and NASCAR. She bowled for many years on the Women’s Monday Night League @ BelMark Lanes. Most important to Betsey was her family, especially her grandson Dustin.

Throughout his life she never missed a single sporting or school event. Betsey is survived by her husband, Brian Brewer; their daughter Kimberly Audritsh and one grandson Dustin Audritsh, as well as her beloved dog Irish. She will be missed by many family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 1:00pm until 4:00 pm at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Liberty Road Chapel, 3767 W. Liberty Road. There will be a Celebration of Life at 4:00 pm. In honor of Betsey, memorial contributions may be made to the Huron Valley Humane Society or to the American Cancer Society.
