Obituary for Cameron Karl Caldwell Cam was born on January 22, 1987 in Ypsilanti, Michigan at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and passed away July 10, 2018. In his younger years, he was a fearless skateboarder, roller blader, trick biker, and trampolinist. In high school Cam participated in lacrosse, football, and track; although lacrosse was his favorite because he felt it combined the best aspect of every other sport put into one.

He graduated from Huron High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2005. He attended University of Michigan and played lacrosse for the U of M Lacrosse Club ’05 and ’06. Cam enjoyed disc golf and video games and he loved music.

He wrote wonderful poetry and was an avid rap artist. Being positive was important to Cameron and he worked hard to be a positive influence in the lives of others. He believed in treating everyone justly and had an open and giving heart.

Cam was grateful for what was in his life. His family was very important to him and he was well-loved by everyone. He will be truly missed by his parents, Karen Treemont and Ken and Patti Caldwell; his sister Jaylynn (Harsi) Jagdev; his cherished grandparents, Roger and Barbara Buiten; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
