Obituary for Peter C. Kempf Peter Charles Kempf, age 69, died on September 11, 2018 at the Arbor Hospice Home in Saline, Michigan. He was born on January 22, 1949 to Richard and Carol (Hauser) Kempf in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He recently resided in Pinckney, Michigan.

Peter graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Industrial design, 1976 and received his master’s in Kinesiology, Biomechanics and Human Factors Engineering, 1995. Peter was active in the Navy Reserves for over 22 years and worked over 30 years in various engineering roles for General Motors, Ford Motor Company, General Dynamics, Sikorsky Aircraft Company, AM General, and recently retired from HumanProof as Senior Humans Factors Engineer. He also proudly served on the University of Michigan, School of Kinesiology Alumni Society board for many years.

Peter is survived by his wife Karen (Evans) Kempf, daughter Sherry (JC) Irvine, brother Dan (Raynetta) Kempf and many nephews and great nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Carol Kempf. Services have already taking place.
