Obituary for Betty Louise Raygor Markum Betty Louise Raygor Markum, 79, of Connellsville (Bullskin Twp. ) passed away peacefully Wed. May 30, 2018 in the Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, Massachusetts.

She was born July 14, 1938 in Connellsville a daughter of the late Charles B. and Helen I. Ressler Raygor. Betty was a graduate of Connellsville High School with the class of 1956. She started her working career at the Connellsville Daily Courier newspaper and then went of to several other jobs including at Westinghouse Air Brake, where she met her future husband, and also managed May’s Clothing Store.

Betty was in the Queens Court for Connellsville’s Sesquicentennial (175th) Celebration. Betty will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving husband of 59 years Donald R. Markum, and her son Donald Charles Markum and wife Alison of Foxborough, MA. Betty was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Family and friends will be received Tue. from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville (724-628-1430). A private committal service will be held for the family at the Mt.

Olive Cemetery in Bullskin Twp, with Rev. Doug Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation be made to the East Connellsville U.M. Church in memory of Betty Louise Markum.
