Obituary for Donald L. Clark Donald L. Clark, 85, a lifelong resident of South Connellsville,passed away Fri. June 1, 2018 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born April 19, 1933 in South Connellsville a son of the late Homer and Freda Kaiser Clark.

Don was a graduate of Connellsville High School with the class of 1951. Prior to his retirement he worked as a Machine Operator/ Mechanic for the former Anchor Hocking Corp. in South Connellsville.

Don was a life member of the South Connellsville Volunteer Fire Department and was a charter member of the South Connellsville Rod &Gun Club. Don loved to golf and was a member of the King’s Mountain Senior Golf League. Don was a very active member of the Connellsville Church of God.

He served in many capasities including Sunday School teacher and Superintendent, past Trustee of the Church Board, head usher, head of the youth group, and also served as church treasurer for many years. Don will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving wife of 38 years Ethelynn “Effie” Sue Leonard Clark, his daughter Deborah Levy and husband Jay of Pinehurst, NC. , his sister Betty J. Balsley of Connellsville, and a special great nephew Davey “The Boy” Wingrove of Dunbar.

In addition to his parents Don was predeceased by a brother Homer Robert Clark, a sister Evelyn Fowler, a sister-in-law Wilma Clark, and his brothers-in-law Floyd Fowler and Harvey C. Balsley. Family and friends will be received Mon. from 2-8 PM in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville (724-628-1430) where a Funeral Service will be held Tue.

at 10:00 AM with Pastor Nelson Confer officiating. Interment will be private. The South Connellsville Volunteer Fire Dept.

will conduct a service Mon. at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Connellsville Church of God, 126 Breakneck Ave.
