Billy Wayne Gaultney December 22, 1939 – January 08, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Billy Wayne Gaultney, 79, of McAlester, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 11 at Bishop Chapel of Memories with Rev. Jerry Burnside officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Tracy Walling, Jeremy Lott, Patrick Ethridge, Mickey Mathis, Chuck Sutterfield, and Jon Madden. Billy Wayne Gaultney was born on December 22, 1939 in McAlester to Marion and Dona (Miller) Gaultney.

He worked for a number of years as a gas station attendant in McAlester. He enjoyed the simple things in life such as mowing the grass and caring for his flowers. Billy also loved horses.

He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in McAlester. Billy married Johnny Linda (Rock) Gaultney on September 7, 2005 in McAlester. Billy is survived by his daughters: Giovanna Hasty and husband, Charlie, Mary Mathis and husband, Mickey, all of McAlester, Staci Walling of Ada; granddaughters: Nikki Walling, Jaime Ethridge and husband, Patrick, Crystal Moore and husband, Bradley, all of McAlester; grandsons: Logan Hasty, Tracy Walling and wife, Megan, Jeremy Lott, Chuck Sutterfield and wife, Tiffani, all of McAlester; and numerous great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by sisters: Mary Gaultney of Westville, Oklahoma, Wanda Kennedy of Eufaula, and Barbara Rich of Springdale, Arkansas; and a brother: Doyle Gaultney of Muskogee. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, wife: Johnnie L. Gaultney, son: Roy Allen (Gaultney) Rock, brother: Jerry Gaultney, and a sister: Diane Gaultney.
