Joy’s Obituary Joy Dean Lewis, 66, of Pittsburg, OK died Saturday, February 16, 2019 at her home. Viewing will be Thursday, February 21, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home in McAlester, OK. A graveside service will take place 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2018 at Pittsburg Cemetery in Pittsburg, OK.

Joy was born January 15, 1953 to Lester and Betty Jo (Hooper) Martin in Atoka, OK. She married Perry Lewis in 1970 in Texas and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pittsburg in Pittsburg, OK. Joy cherished many things in life but adored her two grandchildren the most.

Joy is survived by her son, Dwayne Lewis of Kiowa, OK; daughter, Gail Lewis of Lake Dallas, TX; brother, Rex Martin of Brewer, OK; two grandchildren, Kyle and Kaitlyn Lewis. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Betty Martin; husband, Perry Lewis; daughter, Janice Marie Lewis; sisters, Shirley Scott and Carolyn Young; brothers, Gary and Tommy Martin.
