Juanita Maxine Fowler May 19, 1924 – January 06, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card On January 6, 2019, at 94 years old, Juanita Maxine Fowler passed away at her daughter’s home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the McAlester First Assembly of God Church officiated by the Rev. Jerry Burnside.

Burial will follow at Arpelar Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Ramsey, Billy Stewart, Adam Cable, Steven Kimble, Brandon Kimble, and Riley Stewart. She lived in Olivehurst, California many years before moving to McAlester, Oklahoma to live with her daughter and son-in-law.

She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Olivehurst. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and especially working in her yard. She is preceded in death by her parents: Floyd and Alta Stewart, brothers: Everett and Alvin Stewart, son: Thomas Loyd Cope, and great-granddaughter: Tracy Holman.

Survivors are her daughter: Connie and her husband, Wayne Ramsey of McAlester; daughter: Debbie Durbin of Tulsa; son: Timothy Coop of California; grandchildren: Thomas and his wife, Cindy Ramsey of Ada, Kelly and her husband, Richard Cable of McAlester, Steven and his wife, Darcy Kimble of Tulsa, Stacy Austin of Oklahoma City. Also great-grandchildren: Tara and her husband, Jeremy Burns of Ada, Amanda and her husband, Jonathan Neily of McAlester, Adam Cable of McAlester, Brandon Kimble of Tulsa, Simi Kimble of Tulsa, Noah Ryder Austin of Oklahoma City; sisters: Wanda Andrews of Choctaw, Dorothy and her husband, Joe Andrews of McAlester, Judy and her husband, Nate Hammer of Kiowa; brothers: Kenneth and his wife, Freddie Stewart of McAlester, Gene and his wife Sandra Stewart of Arpelar; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Her favorite inspiring words were “the Lord is our Helper,” and her favorite song was “Joy To The World”.

She is and was loved by all, and a blessing to all who met her. She will certainly be missed, but our loss is Heaven’s gain.
