Bobby Winters, 62 of Big Spring, died Friday, June 22, 2018 at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, June 29, 2018 at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday at Myers & Smith Chapel with burial at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

Bobby was born April 4, 1956 to Zadie Harrison Winters and J.W. Winters in Big Spring, Texas. He had lived a lifetime in Big Spring. He married Jackie McCalister… Read More » on March 26, 1982 in Big Spring.

Bobby had worked for 14 years at Big Spring State Hospital and over 30 years at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He also worked at Scenic Mountain Medical Center for about a year. Bobby loved all sports and especially weight lifting and running for many years.

He would run at Blankenship field every day. He was a member of West Highway 80 Church of Christ and was very proud of his Baptism and his faith. He is survived by his wife Jackie Winters of Big Spring; two sons: Kareem Winters and Eurvin Winters both of Big Spring; one sister: Wanda Allen of Big Spring; two brothers: Robert Hammock of Oklahoma and Rickey Winters of Big Spring; four grandhchildren: Trey Winters, Elyssa Winters, Jazzlyn Winters and Eurvin Winters, Jr., all of Big Spring; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brothers Joe Wille Winters and one sister Betty Winters. Pallbearers will be Chris Turner, Rickey Winters, Jr., Michael Ford, Thaddeus McCalister, Stanley Johnson, Gerald Johnson and Michael Ford, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Rickey Winters and Eurvin Winters. Arrangements are by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
