Bobby Dodson, 80, of Coahoma, died Thursday, July 12, 2018 at his residence. Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Friday, July 20, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Coahoma. Bobby was born January 14, 1938 in Howard County to Pauline Doyle Hopper Dodson and Carl Eugene Dodson.

He married Winnie Bobo on November 11, 1955 and she preceded him in death on September 1, 2014. Bobby worked for Howard County, Citation Oil Co. and Sayers Operating. He retired when he was 76 years of age.

Bobby is survived by one son: Danny Dodson of Coahoma; one daughter: Paula Norris (David) of Greenwood; one grandson: Adam Norris (Stacey) of Odessa and three great grandchildren: McKenzie Hanson, Kelsey Hanson and David Aaron Norris, all of Odessa. In addition to his parents and wife Winnie, he was preceded in death by a grandson Aaron Norris and a brother Ronald Dodson.
