Bradley Thomas Houston , 62, of Burlington, died at 11:58 PM Monday, February 18, 2019, at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington. Born September 8, 1956, he was the son of Clifford Russell and Wanda Wheeler Houston. Bradley worked at Southeastern Community College in the STEP Program as an associate instructor.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving for 17 years. Bradley enjoyed sports and was a Hawkeyes, Cowboys and Cardinals fan. He loved to watch “The Big Bang Theory”, do Sudoku and crossword puzzles and to collect baseball cards.

He was a very proficient individual. Survivors include his mother, Wanda of Burlington; brothers: Russell Houston of Burlington, and Matthew (Christine) Houston of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; son, Andrew Houston of Columbus, OH; daughter, Julie Houston of Columbus, OH; fiancée, Lisa Wells of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory. The memorial service for Bradley will be 3:00 PM Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Graber officiating. A time of food and fellowship will be held in the Community Room at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home following the service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Great River Hospice.
