Brandt H. Fowers, 56, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018. He was born October 16, 1962, in Inglewood, California the son of Howard G and Luana Gunnell Fowers. Brandt married Melanee Ann Butterfield on June 12, 1985 in Salt Lake City temple for time and all eternity.

He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings throughout his life. He graduated from the University of Utah and completed his education at Brigham Young University. Brandt enjoyed life, loved spending time with his family, and was known for his loud, infectious laugh.

Surviving are his wife Melanee, sons, Taylor (Andria), Benjamin (Kaiti), Rylan (Deianeira), mother, brothers, Kevin, Bryan, Daron and Quinn. He is preceded in death by his father and brother, Jeff. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Whisperwood Ward, 1000 W. 2700 So.

, Syracuse. Friends may visit family Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery. The family would like to thank the many wonderful doctors, nurses, and all other medical staff that cared for him through his fight with cancer. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Huntsman Cancer Institute.
