LAYTON – George Arthur Ritchie, 66, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his home. He was born February 24, 1953 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of Dougald L. and Dorothy Jeanne Germain Ritchie. George married Joanne Webb on April 20, 1975 in Reno, Nevada.

They were later divorced. He married Linda Lowe on July 4, 1979 in Sacramento, California. They were later divorced.

He served in the USAF during the Vietnam War. George was an excellent Aircraft Hydraulic Technician at Hill Air Force Base for 40 years. He enjoyed coin collecting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his two sons, Shawn Ritchie, Elko, Nevada; Zackary Ritchie, Clearfield, Utah; five grandchildren, Kenneth, Dominic, Lyndsayann, Jayden, Arissa, one great-grandchild, Keria Jeanne, brothers, Douglas, Raymond, Edward sister, Donna and life-long friends David and Carol Grant. Preceded in death by his parents. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No.
