Burial will follow at Brotherton Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 4:00-9:00PM and Friday 11:00AM till time of the service at 1:00PM.

Harold Robinson will officiate. Mrs. Benson passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at her residence. Brenda Sue Benson was born on September 19, 1945 in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late George Thomas and Ada Ethel (West) Sweat.

She worked for the Russell Stovers Factory and in addition to her husband Robert Benson, was preceded in death by Brother: Roy Sweat and Sister: Barbara Bandy. She is survived by 4 Children and Spouses: Donnie Benson Kenneth and Janie Benson Bobby Benson Lynn and Ann Benson Brother: Burt Sweat Sister: Shelby Smith 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. The Family would like to thank Avalon Hospice for their care and support during this time.
