BRITTNEY NICOLE MYERS Brittney Nicole Myers, 21 of LaPlata, Missouri passed away at 5:00 p.m. Friday (October 12, 2018) in Columbia, Missouri. Born March 13, 1997 in Quincy, Brittney was the daughter of Robert S. “Rob” and Denise L. King Myers. Brittney was a 2015 graduate of LaPlata High School.

She enjoyed kayaking, doing crafts, cooking and was good at taking selfies. Brittney loved the outdoors and her animals, especially her two dogs Ginger and Riley. Most of all she just loved hanging out with her family and friends.

She was employed as a cook at Casey’s Convenience Store in LaPlata. Survivors include her newborn daughter Mckynlee Shaun Myers of LaPlata, MO; her parents Robert S. “Rob”and Denise L. King Myers of Quincy; one brother Justin Reid of Quincy; a sister Jocelyn Sorensen (Nathaniel) of Mendon; her grandmother Shirley King of Mendon; one niece Avahlee Sorensen and a nephew Blaine Freels both of Mendon. Also surviving are numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Brittney was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Greg and Wanda Myers Clinging, her maternal grandfather Robert King and an uncle Brian King. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning 11:00 a.m. in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Disseler officiating. Burial will be in Mendon Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 and Saturday morning until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to her daughter Mckynlee Shaun Myers in care of Robert Myers The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is charge of arrangements.
