Bryant Jarrell Barnett, a life-long resident of Whatley, AL transitioned to his Heavenly Home on April 27, 2018 at the age 28. Bryant was born at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital on June 29, 1989 to the late Thelma Barnett and Charles Montgomery. He was a 2008 Graduate of Clarke County High School.
Upon completion of High school, he went on to become a construction worker for Reintjes Services of Theodore, AL. On December 7, 2015 respectively, he welcomed his handsome son and beautiful daughter, who were the most important parts of his life. Bryant was preceded in death by his mother Thelma Barnett and grandfather Lee Smith.
Bryant leaves to forever cherish his loving memories; two children, Kyzaer Lee Barnett and Kiya Ann Barnett of McIntosh, AL; his Father Charles Montgomery of Choctaw Bluff, AL; two siblings, Geral Barnett of Whatley, AL and Martel Barnett of LaGrange, GA; three grandparents, Geraldine Smith of Whatley, AL and Sophie and Elvin Foxx of Choctaw Bluff, AL; one niece, Shantrell Baker of Whatley, AL; a host of aunts and uncles, six devoted, Cora Dean (Mike) Myers of LaGrange, GA, Beverly (James) Reed of Tampa, FL; Fredrick Barnett of Detroit, MI. ; Bobby Ray Smith, Chester Barnett and Pamela Barnett all of Whatley, AL; a host of cousins, coworkers and friends; four devoted, Charita (Bernell) Heard of LaGrange, GA, Andre Barnett of Whatley, AL. , Tyandre (Candace) Reed of Tampa, FL and Justin Horn of South Carolina.
Public viewing will be Friday, May 4th from 2 to 4 p.m. at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home 203 East Ross, Jackson , AL 36545. Viewing on Saturday May 5th from 1 until the 2 p.m. Funeral service at First Baptist Church of Whatley, AL with Rev. Furnell Pendelton pastor and officiating minister.
