Bryson “Dank” McGrotha, 19, of Sevierville, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Bryson was born on June 17, 1999 in Sevierville. He was outgoing and had friends from many walks of life.

Bryson had a generous spirit and would help anyone in need. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He loved music and was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed playing basketball.

He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and SueElla LaFollette, and Anne Mixon. Bryson is survived by his mother, S. Paula McGrotha; brothers and sisters, Amber Harris (Nick Kimber), Stephanie Tarrant, Kylie McGrotha, and Brayden McGrotha; half-sister, Shonna Rickerson; nieces and nephews, Jaimen Barnett, Ruby Tarrant, and Makai Kimber; uncle, Winfred LaFollette; aunt, Lorine Patterson; special family, Scotty, Ryan, and Hailey Blalock; best friends, Jordan Mullins and Shawn Sanders; and a host of loving extended family members and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Atchley Funeral Home to benefit the family. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Wednesday, November 7th with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Online condolences may be made at www.
