Obituary for Byron Lloyd Jackson Jr Byron Lloyd Jackson, Jr., 68, went home to his heavenly Father on Monday, July 2, 2018 at his home. Byron is a member of Concord Baptist Church. He is a graduate of The University of Tennessee.
Byron worked at Robert Shaw for many years before starting his own company, Swiss Technologies in 2002. Although his company was very successful, in 2015 he wanted to retire so that he could spend more time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Byron was a passionate golfer.
He spent many days on the golf course with his best buddies. Byron is preceded in death by his parents, Byron Lloyd Jackson and Dorothy Johns Jackson. He is also preceded in death by his nephew Bradford Vaughn.
He is survived by his best friend and wife, Cindy Allmon Jackson. He leaves behind his son, Byron Lloyd Jackson, III (B.L.) and wife Beth of Knoxville, TN. His daughter, Bethany Maness and husband Lee of Brentwood, TN and stepdaughter, Misty Bettis Newman and husband Mike of Philadelphia, TN.
He is also survived by five grandchildren who loved their Papa very much. Hadley, Coleman and Landry Maness, Jaycee and Jaida Newman. He is survived by sisters, Kathy Ransdell and husband Lewis of Knoxville, TN and Marte Wright and husband Jim of Minneapolis, Minnesota and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday, July 6, 2018. Visitation from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in the Sweetwater Memory Chapel, funeral to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Brian Courtney and Lewis Ransdell officiating.
Graveside service and Interment will be Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:30 A.M. in the Sweetwater Memorial Park. Pallbearers at the service are, Byron Lloyd Jackson, III, Lee Maness, Mike Newman, David Ransdell, Dan Schopmann, Joe Howell and honorary pallbearer Coleman Maness.
