Obituary for Donna Ruth Moates Donna Ruth Moates of Kingston, Tennessee passed away Monday September 24, 2018. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church for 25 years and worked at Oak Ridge National Lab for 38 years. She enjoyed water skiing, snow skiing, going to the beach, making memories with her family and grandchildren, UT football and teaching children at church through Sunday School.

She enjoyed having fun and loved to laugh. Preceded in death by parents: Leslie and Edith Lamance, sisters Joyce Russell, Patsy Snow, and Kathy Lamance, Brothers: Randall and Charles Lamance. She is survived by her husband Patrick Moates of Kingston; Daughter Michelle (Grant) Weingarten; Son Adam Moates; Two Grandchildren Julius and Nevaeh Moates; Special niece Amanda Perkins and several nieces and nephews; Sisters Brenda (Bill) Snow, Dorothy Davis, Betty Daugherty; Brother Tony (Randy) Lamance all of Harriman; Several Friends including special friends Teresa Nichols, Debbie Weaver, Teresa Kirkham and Brenda White.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday September 27, 2018 at The Grove Baptist Church with the funeral to follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Phillip Martin and Rev. Tyler Brown officiating.
