Obituary for C. Leonard Deichman Len went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 16, 2018. He was looking forward to his homecoming in Heaven. He was the husband of Annabelle I. (Morrow) Deichman, sharing 62 years of marriage.

Leonard was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma on August 12, 1936, son of the late Charles Leonard Deichman, Sr. and Mary Emma (Moyers) Bumgardner. Leonard graduated from Northeast High School in Oklahoma City. He served in the U.S. Army.

He was a cross country truck driver for McCrory’s Corp. and also owned Deichman’s Depot for 25 years. Leonard was a member of Calvary Bible Church in East Prospect, serving as a Church Administrator and Elder.

He was also a member of the Train Collectors of America and Red Lion Train Club. In addition to his wife, Annabelle, he is survived by a daughter, Faith A. Clark and her husband, Doug of Salem, Missouri; son, Stephen W. Deichman and his fiancée, Tammy L. Hollenbach and her daughters, Kelsey and Courtney of York; three grandchildren, Anna Frederick and her husband, Darcy, Sara Mauk and her husband, Daniel, and Esther Clancy and her husband, Wes, all of Missouri; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Allen Bumgardner and his wife, Sharon and Joel Deichman and his wife, Nancy, both of Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his sister, Madaline Sands; brother, Harold Deichman; step mother, Cleone Deichman; and step father, George Bumgardner.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Calvary Bible Church, 125 Calvary Church Road, Wrightsville, with Pastor Joe L. Fauth officiating. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2018 and on Tuesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m., both at the church. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery with Flag Folding presentation presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
