Obituary for Cindy Rae Myers Cindy Rae Myers (Marsteller), 58 years old, passed away on July 27, 2018 at her home on West Philadelphia Street, York, after living with ovarian cancer for 14 years. Cindy was born on March 23, 1960 in York, Pennsylvania to Priscilla (Myers) Marsteller and the late Donald Marsteller. She graduated from Central York High School in 1978 and married her childhood sweetheart, Samuel Bahn Myers, on March 10, 1979, who died in a car accident in 2015.

She is survived by her three children, Andrew Myers (wife, Sanaa Balghiti-Myers), Valerie Myers (partner, Ryan McPeak), and Elizabeth Aronson (husband, Adam) as well as her three grandchildren, her brother, Steven Marsteller, and her mother. Cindy was a devoted wife and mother; she homeschooled her three children while working part time at Myers Salads and Pastries where she made beautiful pies. Cindy reveled in her family enjoying her children, in-laws, and grandchildren.

Cindy enjoyed tutoring with the York Conference of Lutherans tutoring program, where her students fell in love with her. Cindy had a strong faith and trust in God’s plan for her life and had “peace that passes understanding” until the very last. She was an active member of Living Word Community Church.

A memorial service will be held Monday, July 30, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Living Word Community Church, 2530 Cape Horn Road, Red Lion, PA 17356. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the York Conference of Lutherans tutoring program.
