Calvin Allen Robbins, 88, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018. He was born September 7, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Calvin Bicknell Robbins and Ruby Maude Allen. Calvin lived in Salt Lake City and graduated from East High School.

He served a mission in Australia for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1959 he met the love of his life Bette Lu Pierce. They were married on September 18, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple.

During the Korean War he served in Washington DC in the Pentagon. He was an avid bird watcher and fly fisherman. Calvin is survived by children: Calvin Dean Robbins (Joni), Bette Jo Davis “Sandi”, Bicknell Pierce Robbins (Pamela), 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, also surviving is his sister Carol Peterson and brother Bicknell (Mitiz) Robbins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and 3 sisters. A special thanks to Legacy Health Care and the amazing Staff at Country Pines Care Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at the Clinton North Stake Center, 1500 West 1800 North, Clinton, Utah.

A viewing will be held for family and friends Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. At Myers Mortuary 5865 S. 1900 W. Roy Utah and at the church prior to services 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
