John Conway Stark December 17, 1938- October 16, 2018 Enjoy your Root Beer floats in Heaven Dad! John Conway Stark, 79, from Clearfield returned Home to his loving Father in Heaven on Tuesday, October 16. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Conway, born in Logan, Utah, December 17, 1938 to John Daniel Stark and Mildred Hannah Bonham. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served a fulltime mission for the Church in the Central States Mission.

While serving, he met and baptized his future wife. Six years later, “The most wonderful woman in the World”, Mary Lou Kemmerer agreed to marry him. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple and together they were blessed with four daughters.

Shelley Marble, Christy (Matt) Conley, Cindy (James) Crapse, Connie (William) Trevino. He was also blessed with 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and his bestest friend “Buddy” (his dog). Conway is survived by his brother David (Ellen) Stark and sister Katherine Ann (David) Degener.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gary. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Clearfield 7th Ward Chapel, at 350 Vine Street, Clearfield. A viewing will be held prior to services on Sunday October 21, from 6-8pm at Myers Mortuary, 5865 S 1900 W, Roy and on Monday, from 9:30-10:30am, at the Church location.
