Obituary for Carolyn Kathryn Smith Carolyn Kathryn Smith 84, Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, passed away October 27, 2018 at Thatcher Brook Rehabilitation and Care Center in Clearfield, UT. She was born January 30, 1934 in Spangler, Pennsylvania to Walter and Roselia Strongoski Burka. She married Gerald Smith on June 30 in 1951, Virginia.

They had celebrated 51 years together when he passed away November 16, 2002. She grew up in Pennsylvania where she received her elementary education and graduated from Tyrone High School. They resided in multiple states throughout their 51 years together.

She has resided in Tremonton, UT for the last 20 years. Carolyn loved to Crochet and Read. She had a sweet and loving personality but was also known to have a feisty side.

She is survived by her Children: Steven Smith (Cathy), Michael Smith (MJ), Kathryn Wixon (Tim); 13 Grandchildren and a host of Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband and Children: Dennis Smith and Victoria Hubbard. The family would like to express appreciation to Neighbors and Friends Butch and Rebecca Wigington for their care and friendship extended to Carolyn.
