John Harry Klick December 9, 1945 – October 24, 2018 John Harry Klick passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on October 24, 2018. John was born December 9, 1945 to Jean Marie Ross and John Leroy Klick in Newark, New Jersey. John attended Abraham Clark High School in Roselle, New Jersey.

He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam. Following the war, John married his sweetheart Julia Ann Macavinta on July 5, 1973 in Ogden, Utah and spent 45 loving years together before his passing. Together they raised six wonderful children.

Family was the light of John’s life. John worked for 20 years for the Utah Foster Care Association and also worked for the Clearfield Job Corps for an additional 33 years. John was a member of the Catholic faith and enjoyed gardening, fishing, billiards and music.

John is survived by his wife, Julia Klick, his children: Saundra Klick, Issac Klick, Macyn Klick, Hailee Klick, Rion Klick, Dallyn Klick, Cassie WalksOverIce, C.T. WalksOverIce, Richard WalksOverIce, Darrell WalksOverIce, and Dillan Oram; grandchildren: Julianna Snell, Samantha Snell, Graycie Reigh, Hunter Oram, and expecting baby Oram; siblings: Joyce Stahl, Jacque Kelly, Tommy Heal, Sylvia Lenzie, Joe Macavinta, Dolores Macavinta, Fran Morriss, Lori Finch, Donny Macavinta, Don Myrtle, Manzie Dixon, and Alicia Cook. John also included his extended family: Mendez, Naranjo, Singh/Montoya, Walker On Ice, Garcia, WalksOverIce, Singer, Black Eagles, and Yellowtails. John is preceded in death by his parents: Jean and John Klick, Sam and Virgie Macavinta, and Cedrick and Lorena WalksOverIce; three brothers: Tommy Heal, Carson WalksOverIce, and Victor Singer.

Special thanks from the family to Intermountain Hospice and Veterans Medical Administration. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street. A viewing will be held at Myers Mortuary from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd.
