Carmen L Muniz ( nee Droz ), 88 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy with her family by her side. Carmen was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico and came to Perth Amboy 65 years ago. She was a homemaker and was very proud of that fact and loved speeding time with her family and friends.

She was a parishioner of Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Holy Trinity Church. She is preceeded in death by her devoted husband Juan Jorge Muniz, who passed away in February of this year; loving daughter of Vidal & Carmen ( nee Ramirez ) Droz; dear sister of 5 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her beloved children Jorge and his wife Carmen, Jose, Victor and his wife Esther Cruz, Carmen Vazquez, Milagros Echevarria, Ruth, George & Noel Muniz; adored grandmother of 20 and great ~ grandmother of 18; cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.

We begin to leave on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 9:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a funeral mass at 10 am at Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Holy Trinity Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Fords. Visiting is on Friday from 2 ~ 4 & 7 ~ 9 Pm.
