Obituary for Carol Jean Arrington Carol Jean Arrington, was born on May 30, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Frank Leland Ritter and Laverne Starks Ritter. On January 6, 2019, she went peacefully into the next life. Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Gilmer, on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

A private interment will be held at Enoch Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of McWhorter Funeral Home. On June 4, 1963, she married Danny Arrington in Gilmer, Texas.

She was a loving wife, mother and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She is survived by her husband, Danny Arrington; sons, Bart Arrington, David Arrington and Jeff Arrington; daughters, Sonia Siakisini and Jeannie Abbott; 23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, William Ritter and Don Ritter; and by a sister, Wendy Jones.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Michael Arrington and Joseph Arrington; brother, James Ritter; and by her sister, Judy Haws. Pallbearers are Lou Siakisini, David Arrington, Jeff Arrington, Colin Reid, Jeremy Arrington and Dallin Siakisini. Please visit Carol’s on-line registration book at www.
