Carol Jean Lidgard, 79, of La Porte, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at South Bend Memorial. Carol was born in La Porte, IN, on July 24, 1938 to Theodore and Bessie (Vermilyer) Reeder. On October 15, 2005 in La Porte, IN, she married Richard Eugene Lidgard who survives.

Also surviving are her beloved children, Pam (Carl) Jordan, Michele (Donald) Minor, and Lisa Adams; stepchildren, Brian (Chris) Lidgard, Brenda (Pat) Riley, and Tammy Lidgard; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Richard William Snyder; and brothers, LeRoy, Kenneth and Donald Reeder. Carol enjoyed gardening and traveling.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A public graveside service will be held at a later date.
