Obituary of Carol Hendershot Mrs. Carol Lee Hendershot of Port Jervis, NY passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. She was 75. She was born April 17, 1943 in Newton, NJ the daughter of the late Harry Current and the late Shirley May Kelly Current.

Carol was married to Allen Hendershot until his passing in 1980. A Family Statement Read: “Carol was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed”. Surviving are: Her Daughters: Lori Curry and her companion Richard Martin of Port Jervis Janet Hendershot and her companion, Thomas Gregory of Port Jervis Cynthia Shultz of Port Jervis Her Sisters: Harriett Bensley and her husband, Bob of Newton, NJ Janet Savacool and her husband, Doug of Deland, FL Special niece and nephew, Jerry and Diane Hendershot Also 30 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren As well as many nieces, nephews and cousins Carol was predeceased by her beloved husband, Allen, and several of their children.

Friends and family may visit Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 E. Main Street, Port Jervis, NY on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 29th at the funeral home. Cremation was held at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA Memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s name to an animal shelter of the donor’s choice.
