Carrie (Carbone) Puzzullo, 99, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully Thursday at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse to the late John and Camille (Masterpole) Carbone in 1919 and raised by Louis and Grace Carbone. She worked at Easy Washer in Syracuse for 18 years before retiring.

Carrie was a member of First Christian Assembly Church in Syracuse. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Puzzullo in 1975, her brothers, Rocky, Joseph, Louis, Jack, William and Albert Carbone and sister, Katherine Bucci. Carrie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Charles L. and Wilma Puzzullo, of N. Syracuse, 3 grandchildren; Charles, Caryn and Jonathan Puzzullo, 1 great-grandson; Frank Puzzullo, 2 sisters; Corrine Hoffman, of Liverpool and Grace Marie Roberts, of Syracuse and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Friday February 1st, Carrie’s 100th birthday, at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue. Private burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to First Christian Assembly, 705 Hamilton St, Syracuse, NY 13204.
