Obituary for F. MICHAEL RUSSO JR. F. Michael Russo, Jr., 72, of Bernhards Bay, passed away Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Ocala, FL.

to the late Francis Michael and Adelaide (Duell) Russo in 1946. He was the Traffic Manager for Beechnut followed by being employed by Carrier Corporation for over 30 years, retiring in 2011 as the Director of Transportation. Michael was an avid car lover and member of a local Dodge Challenger Car club.

He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Loretta Hall. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, the former Deborah Gonzalez, 2 children; F. Michael (Selena Devendorf) Russo III, of Chittenango and Michelle (Barry) Nelipowitz, of Fayetteville, 6 grandchildren; Nicole Russo, Jordan and Jacob Nelipowitz, Natalie, Logan and Liliana Russo, 5 siblings; James Russo, of Ormond Beach, FL, Julie (Cindy Sgroi) Russo, of Jamesville, Lisa Russo, of Daytona Beach, FL, Bernie (Louise) Sandrowicz, of Port Orange, FL and Libbie Sandrowicz, of Daytona Beach, FL and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 am Tuesday at St. Cecilia Church, Solvay.

Private burial will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Granville. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Monday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the SPCA or a charity of choice.
