Chad Lee Whitmore, 44, of West Burlington, died at 2:08 PM Friday, June 1, 2018, in West Burlington. Born September 30, 1973, in Burlington, he was the son of Larry L. and Helen Whitmore. In 2003, he married Heather Ann Cramblit in Burlington.

He graduated from High School in 1993. He enjoyed fishing and working in his garage, especially on cars. He was a New England Patriots fan and great handyman and could fix almost anything.

Most of all, he loved to spend time with his kids and granddaughter. Survivors include his parents, Larry and Helen Whitmore of Burlington; his wife, Heather Ann Cramblit (Whitmore) of West Burlington; his children: Makenzie (Jacob), Amber, Chelsey, Brock and Landen Whitmore; one step-daughter, Danielle Jackson; one granddaughter, London Hostetter; one brother, Shawn (Jessica) Whitmore of Burlington; one sister, Kay (Eric) Walker; one grandmother, Joan Ryals of Burlington; and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by one brother, Eric, and his paternal grandparents.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home. Memorials have been established for his kids.
