Charles B. “Casey” Jones, age 74, of Surgoinsville, went to his Heavenly home on Thursday, February 28, 2019. He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy; daughter, Rebecca; mother, Bessie Jones; siblings, Ada and Donald; brother-in-law, Curt Akard; and uncles, Herman, Ralph, Robert, J.N., and Ed. Charles is survived by his loving children: daughter, Melissa Mata (Michael); sons, James E. Jones (Mendi), Charles B. Jones, Jr. (Trina), Randall Jones (Chelsi); grandchildren, Megan, Trevor and Sadie; sister-in-law, Tammy Akard; brother-in-law, Eddie Vaughn; and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Jake Jones Cemetery with John Hill officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville at 2:00 pm Sunday. Online condolences may be sent at www.
