Charles Gilbert “Chuck” Rager, 81, of Westminster, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Westminster Healthcare. Chuck was born on August 18, 1936 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late William Sr., and Erma Rager. He was the husband of the late Gaye I. Rager, who predeceased him in 2012.

Chuck served in the Pennsylvania National Guard. He worked for many years as a mix man at East Coast Ice Cream Factory. During his retirement we worked in maintenance at TimberRidge.

… Read More » Chuck collected model trains and enjoyed fixing up Ford Trucks, and was a hard worker until the time of his passing. Surviving him are children and their spouses Debra and Ron Cope of Hanover, PA, Lee and Wendy Rager of Hanover, MD; brothers and sisters-in-law William, Jr. and Betty Rager of Johnstown, PA, Jimmy and Sharon Knauer of Mulberry,FL; grandchildren Bryan Holowchak and fiancee Stephanie Custodio, Shane Rager and fiancée Hollie Iuliucci, and Tyler Rager; and beloved dog Mason. He was predeceased by sisters Ellie Yuran and Marge Yerty.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a future date. Arrangements provided by Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.
