Charles David Turner, 89, son of Henry Grover & Mary (Beall) Turner, was born September 18, 1929 in Dallas County, Iowa. He passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at his daughter’s home near Maxwell, Iowa. Charles graduated from Redfield High School in 1947.

He attended a year at Simpson College before returning home to farm. On January 30, 1954, he married Beatrice Turner in Churdan, Iowa. He served in the United States Army from 1954 – 1956, serving in Korea for 18 months.
