William (Bill) Stewart Barks, 59, son of Bruce & Naomi (Stewart) Barks, was born June 22, 1959 in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the EveryStep Kavanagh House in Des Moines, Iowa. Bill graduated from Panora-Linden High School in 1977.

He went on to earn his degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Industrial Technology. For the last 25 years he has made his home in Panora. He previously worked at Rose Acres Farms in Guthrie Center.
