Obituary for Charles E. Vine Charles (Charlie) E Vine, 75yrs, of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away on Sunday May 27, 2018 in his home. Charlie was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on February 21, 1943 to the late William E. and Margaret A. Schofield Vine. Charlie was employed by several local restaurants as a cook over many years , most recently working for the Bloomsbury Fire House with their catering service.

He attended Phillipsburg High School and his two main hobbies that he was passionate about were music and trains. Charlie was known by all as a helpful, giving, quiet man. Charlie is survived by five brothers; Robert (Bob) of Wilson Borough, Pa.

William (Bill) and his wife Nancy of Phillipsburg, NJ. Richard (Dick) and his wife Joyce of Palmer Township, Pa. George and his wife Donna of Bloomsbury, NJ.

David of Bloomsbury, NJ. And one sister; Betty J. Pope and her husband Richard of Pittsburgh, Pa. And many nieces and nephews.

Charlie was predeceased by his wife Theresa L. Vine. His sister Lois Banko in 1972 and two sister-in-laws; Pam Vine and Shirley Vine. At Charlie’s request he will be cremated with a Memorial Service to follow on Thursday June 7, 2018 at 4:00pm in the Rupell Funeral Home LLC 465 Memorial Pkwy.
