Obituary for Theresa Veronica Davis Theresa Veronica Davis, 93, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital-Warren Campus in Phillipsburg, NJ. Theresa was born in Easton, PA on May 4, 1925 to the late Gaetano and Mary Volpe Gugliuzza. Theresa was, along with her late husband, proprietor of the Harmony Package Store in Harmony Township for 20 years.

She was also a partner, with her late husband and brother-in-law, at Davis’s Tavern in Phillipsburg. Theresa was a graduate of Easton High School. She enjoyed doing Crossword Puzzles in her spare time and loved spending time with her family.

Theresa is survived by a son, Arnold K. Davis, Jr. of North Carolina; daughters, Jean Davis Carhart of Nazareth, PA and Harriet Welch and her husband, Paul of Michigan; grandchildren, Eric K. Davis, Courtney E. Davis, David R. Carhart, Brian C. Carhart, Matthew D. Carhart, and Rebecca Welch; and great-grandchildren, Brayden and Riley Carhart, and Orson Davis Rogers; and a brother, Frank Gugliuzza. Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Arnold K. Davis, Sr. and daughter, Terri-Lee Davis. A Funeral Service for Theresa will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 10am at the Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Parkway; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.

A Visitation of Family and Friends will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 6pm to 9pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine; Palmer Township, PA. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made in Theresa’s name to Compassionate Care Hospice; 350 Sparta Ave.
