Obituary for Christa Schnarwyler Christa Schnarwyler, 95, of Seaford, NY passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 at The Easton Home in Easton, PA. Christa was born in Ortelsburg, Germany on January 9, 1923 to the late Simon and Augusta Thal Unternahrer. Christa was a Waitress and Hostess for 33 years at the Port Washington Yacht Club in Port Washington, NY, retiring in 1989.

Christa was a member of The Long Island Swiss CLub Christa is survived by daughter, Heidemarie (Heidi) E. Hawk and her husband, John of Stewartsville, NJ; son, Tristan J. Schnarwyler and his wife, Karen of Hicksville, NY; grandsons, John A. Hawk, Jr and his wife Penelope, Erik Hawk and his wife Laura, Mark Hawk and his wife Kristy and Max Schnarwyler, Chad Urschel and Nicholas Bordone; granddaughter, Meghan Urschel; great-granddaughters, Payton Hawk, Hayden Hawk, Brielle Hawk and Addison Hawk; great-grandsons, Gavin Hawk and Mason Hawk. Christa was predeceased by her husband, Hans M. Schnarwyler; and a daughter, Christa W. Pennington. A Funeral Service for Christa will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 4pm at the Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Parkway; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.

A Visitation of Family and Friends will be held from 2pm until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Greenwich Cemetery at a later date. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be made in Christa’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association; 617 Main Street A; Hellertown, PA 18055.
